Terms of Use
1. What UnwrapNote is
UnwrapNote lets you make a greeting card and share it as a link. The card's content (names, message and which built-in illustration you chose) is stored only inside that link. We do not host or store your cards. This edition does not support uploading photos.
2. Your content and your responsibility
- You are responsible for what you put in a card and for who you send it to.
- Only use text that you have the right to use, and only include other people's names if you have their permission. Illustrations are provided by the site; you do not upload your own images.
- You keep any rights you have in your content. Because we never receive it, we do not need or take a licence to it.
3. What you must not do
You must not use UnwrapNote to make or send cards that:
- break any law, or show or promote illegal activity;
- harass, bully, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone, or encourage self-harm;
- are designed to trick people (phishing), for example by pretending to be a bank, delivery company, government office or another person, or by asking for passwords, codes or payments;
- contain sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, hate speech, or someone else's private information;
- infringe someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- are sent as spam or in bulk.
We may block any card from being shown on our site, and we may report illegal content to the authorities where required by law.
3a. How we handle reports and abuse
- Every card page shows: “Made by a user, not affiliated with any company. Never enter passwords or card numbers.”
- Cards whose sender or recipient name looks like a company, bank or official body are not shown. Cards that mention passwords, card numbers, logins, links or phone numbers show an extra warning.
- Anyone can report a card from the card page. We review reports within 48 hours at arisxiao0209@mail.grokbot.com.
- If a card breaks these terms, we block it by its content (the whole card or its message), so re-sharing the same content in a different link is also blocked. We cannot block content that has been changed.
- We may report illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, to the relevant authorities.
4. Links cannot be recalled
Once you share a link, anyone who has it can open the card. We cannot recall, edit or delete a sent link. Blocking a reported card only stops our pages from displaying it.
5. Premium features (placeholder)
Premium templates and watermark removal are marked "coming soon" and cannot be bought yet. Prices, what you get, and refund terms will be added here before any sale.
6. No warranty
UnwrapNote is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always work, or that every link will open in every app or browser (some apps shorten or break long links). Keep your own copy of anything important.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content that users create and share. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
